Unused yearbook photo as student governement president.
Somehow I decided that the most appropriate yearbook photo was me naked, behind the podium. Sort of like how I felt with the students, it was Justin, out there in front of them, no barriers, pretenses.
Bibi Tucker shot this photo for me in February '93. She missed the podium. I found out when I heard her and Holly Mills standing behind me giggling in the Parker lunchroom, checking out the black and white of my tweeter.
The President of the Board of Trustees, Holly Mills's mom, approved the idea in concept, but the head of the lower school and the yearbook editors denied me flat out - regardless of cadjoling.
So they put up something infinitely cheesier, but still posed, and half naked.
