Ikkyu

This fifteenth century wandering zen priest might be considered an indulgent antidote to the fourteenth precept - a voice for prurient proclivities.

He revelled in wine women and song - much short prose celebrating the wild ways of crazy cloud he left us.

Ikkyu: brief biography from Heroes in the Muromachi Era

A Man's Root, from Wild Ways, page 53
Eight inches strong, it is my favourite thing;
If I'm alone at night, I embrace it fully -
A beautiful woman hasn't touched it for ages.
Within my fundoshi there is an entire universe!
A fundoshi is a type of loose-fitting underwear once worn by Japanese men.
Lady Mori's Gifted Touch, from Wild Ways, page 78
My hand is no match for that of Mori.
She is the unrivaled master of love play:
When my jade stalk wilts, she can make it sprout!
How we enjoy our intimate little circle.
Ikkyu reference in World of Craziness article about courage and swordplay.

Years after writing this paper I would do more exploration of Ikkyu.
